Please, please, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you are fortunate enough to be one of the people who heed this advice before you decide to buy, you can consider yourself as one of the extremely lucky potential buyers of Powered Paragliding equipment from Flight Junkies. Please don’t even touch the phone or the keyboard, concerning the purchase of your equipment, until you have taken the time to listen to my story. It’s sad (boohoo) only because I didn’t know about Kurt and Flight Junkies until it was too late. Hopefully, it will save you from the same terrible experiences and loss of money that I encountered. Please keep in mind that I weigh 265 lbs. I was assured by the first dealer that the equipment he was selling me could easily launch from my elevation of 7000 ft. ASL. This was total bunk but, how was I to know he was giving me a line of lies? His web site still rates a pilot weight maximum of 500 lbs The Trike/engine and wing combination I ended up with would probably be difficult to launch at Death Valley on a cold day. Oh, by the way, the dealer sold me the package with his “SUPER” engine included. This wonderful piece of gear gave me an engine out on both of my first test flights. (resulting in engine failure because of seizure of the piston)! He then sent me smaller version of the engine to replace the original. The replacement engine is less powerful than the original and never did posses the power required to safely get me in the air, at even 1700 ft. ASL. This guy then proceeds to inform me that all of the original engine type he just sold me were having this kind of trouble, were junk and as such would not be sold by him in the future! . He actually had the nerve to admit that he had sold me a defective engine but he would be a good guy and replace it with the smaller, less powerful, less expensive unit than the original. I, like a lot of other trusting people out there, listened to the claims of the first dealer I dealt with. Oh, he promised that his special “SUPER” equipment was capable of performing “SUPER” aviation feats of glory. He then recommended an instructor who turned out to be so busy promoting his Florida based fly-in whilst attempting to train one student ( a foot launcher ) and myself (a Trike student) while in the process of moving back to Florida at the same time. This basically resulted in handing over my training money, $1500.00, and getting absolutely nothing in return. Well, in all honesty, I have to admit he did teach me how to put a hole in my wing and bend the forward landing gear on my Trike. When asked how he planned to at least follow through with the training I had paid for, he professed to be a gentleman and said he would be in my area several times a year and would contact me about my training during one of his visits. Haven’t seen nor heard from him since. $1500.00 plus what I had to pay in damages to the wing and Trike, about another $300.00 to $400.00. All for the “privilege” of “training” from this guy? Wow! Unbelievable! There! I have completely vented my spleen and appreciate those Folks that were willing to take the time to read this whole odyssey. Thanks so much. Now, for the happy part. I was actually beginning to believe there was something wrong with me, other than the weight problem, and that perhaps I just was neither mentally nor physically capable of fulfilling my lifelong dream of flying. Another instructor, out of Las Vegas, told me to call a friend of a friend of a friend and find where he got his equipment and how he liked it. By the way, the instructor from Las Vegas was fabulous and attempted everything in his arsenal to get me in the air but, the “Super” outfit wasn’t even capable of safely getting me off the ground at Las Vegas elevation (1700 ft.) I contacted the friend of a friend of a friend and he told me he was so happy and pleased with the care and expertise Flight Junkies had provided, along with the superior quality of their products, that he wouldn’t even consider dealing with anyone else. He went on and on about how Mr. Kurt Fister (owner of Flight Junkies inc.) had shown him how to fly safely, successfully and confidently and felt anyone not going to Kurt first would be making a huge mistake. I contacted Kurt and he came to my place and trained me with such professionalism, patience and expertise that I too would recommend no one else for the job. The Trike, motor and wing combination we selected are absolutely fantastic! The quality and workmanship of the unit is unsurpassed and was so well suited to my needs that I got into the air, flew and landed perfectly on the first try. This combination literally yanked me into the air, on take-off. I am thrilled with my new outfit and will be flying it until I can’t fly any more. Kurt is an extremely straight shooting, no BS kind of guy. He won’t try to sell you something he doesn’t truly believe is best for you. He will give you the best training on the planet and all it will cost is the price of a plane ticket and an old Army cot for a while (Kurt has been known to sleep in tents, if need be). In all seriousness, Folks, if you don’t see Kurt before you buy, you are doing yourself a great injustice and will more than likely be writing a letter just like this one, in the near future. Contact him at: Capt. Kurt Fister I promise you won’t regret it. |

To those of you thinking of getting into this incredible sport…
Look NO FURTHER than Capt. Kurt At Flightjunkies! I was at a place where I wasn’t sure what to believe when it came to the purchase of equipment or training. I wanted the best in both. And everybody out there Claimed “Their unit was the best” and how the “Pros were flying their equipment” As a military flight instructor , I did tons of research and talked with ALOT of PPG pilots. I can’t tell you how many pilots kept telling me….”Go….Talk to Capt. Kurt at Flightjunkies” They said all said… “This guy is a straight shootin NO-Bullshit kind of guy.” He’s The Best there is! They also said he trains completely FREE!!! I had no Idea how he could possibly offer training for FREE. I assume there was a catch. But it was all true!!! There was NO catch, period! In short , I ended up purchasing a Fresh Breeze and Training with The Capt. At Flightjunkies. IT WAS EVERYTHING EVERYBODY SAID IT WAS! To say the equipment is the highest quality is an extreme understatement! The Training was amazing!!! Capt. Kurt pays such attention to detail and explains so much to the student. There were 4 of us in training at the same time, and we all were flying by the second and third day. You would swear you were in Boot Camp… he will work you like a dog. He is one hard instructor. All 4 of us agreed the guy really lives, eats, sleeps and breaths PPG. Not to mention one of the funniest son-of-a-guns you will ever meet. You cant help but love the guy! Now I know why a few other dealers out there kinda don’t like him. LOL He offers Better Training that’s FREE, Trains in all 50 states! Actually Knows what he’s doing. And has the Best equipment you can buy! My experience with Capt. Kurt and Flightjunkies has been 100% Positive. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I trained with Flightjunkies and purchased a Fresh Breeze. Now that I have been in the sport, I see the problems out there that he warned me about in the beginning. He was 100% right!!! Folks seriously, Don’t make a purchase till you talk to Capt. Kurt, He’s a straight shooter from the word go! Capt. Andrew Davis |

| Flight Junkies is the reason that I’m a very happy Paramotor pilot today and flying every chance I get. Kurt was kind enough to advise me from the start about which type of equipment to buy, with no pressure at all to buy from him. My budget forced me to look for used equipment, and so when I found a used motor for sale online, Kurt called the seller for me to make sure it was a solid motor, and to avoid the many risks that new students have when buying used gear online. Once it came time for instruction, I bought a plane ticket for Kurt and he flew to my hometown and we had the best time training. He’s sincere about the whole teaching for free thing – he loves seeing new students get totally hooked on flying and that’s pay enough for him. He’s a natural instructor and I can’t wait for next summer when he’s coming back for a visit and to teach me some more advanced flying skills.Mike Eudenbach Newport, RI |

| I first spoke with Capt. Kurt Fister while looking for training in the sport of powered paragliding. I noticed his website that mentioned “Free Training” so I gave him a call. Kurt said he would come to my location and train me for the cost of his transportation whether I purchased from him or not but he wanted the opportunity to tell me about the finest powered paraglider in the business – the Fresh Breeze. I had found a competitors paraglider and motor on eBay and was about to purchase it by Kurt warned me about the model that I was choosing. He said this particular model was so heavy and overbuilt that I would be the joke of any major fly-in if I decided to show my face to fly. I spoke with Kurt for about an hour and ended up purchasing the largest, most powerful unit Fresh Breeze sells, as I like to have more power than necessary and I weigh about 225 lbs. Kurt actually talked me out of many options that would have increased his sale but he said I didn’t need them on this unit.Training began about a month later as Kurt arrived in Little Rock for my first round of training. Kurt is very intense with his training schedule and you must be prepared to work when he comes to town. He made sure that I was comfortable with “kiting” the wing during the first of my three days training. Kurt put my motor together, ran it for the first time and test flew it to show me how it was done. During the third day of training, I had an accident with my wing that ended the training session as the wing would have to be sent off for repairs. I believe Kurt was more upset that I didn’t fly during that first three days than I was. A month later, Kurt came back for his second set of Southern cooking and three days of training and I was able to make my first flight during this session. I traveled to Kurt’s hometown in Ohio and spent a week working with Kurt and doing some extra training and attended my first fly-in at the end of that week in Toledo. A fellow showed up with the same unit I was about to buy on eBay and just as Kurt said everyone made fun of him for the type of unit he was flying.Kurt is the only guy in the United States that trains for free. This doesn’t make him popular with other dealers that make a lot of money training but it is good for you and me. He will steer you in the right direction with the purchase of new equipment and with training. I have made two trips in the last year with one way drive times of 12 an 18 hours each to enjoy this sport with Kurt and plan to have hundreds of hours of incredible flying as a result of training with Kurt. You are welcome to contact me for a personal referral at (501) 282-4430.

| Kurt, your training has been excellent. Very efficient, tailored to the individual student’s level of understanding, challenging enough to keep it interesting, presented in a very positive atmosphere, presented by an instructor who certainly has explored all areas of powered paragliding himself, but still understands the problems a new student struggles with. And, on top of this, it’s free. So keep it up and I would recommend training with you to anybody, anytime.Gottfried Schiller Michigan |
| When I first saw a Powered Paraglider gracefully flying overhead, I was awestruck. The excitement and adrenaline rush that I get from windsurfing, racing sailboats, surfing, riding my motorcycle and other such sports, I knew I had to add Powered Paragliding to my list of must haves. With some initial investigation, I had found that the possibility of flying with minimal training (compared to airplane flying), few restrictions, and being affordable was, for the first time, within my reach. This thought of actually having the freedom to fly with little investment had me hooked and I knew I had to have one. I began the arduous task of long hours on the internet and phone.
Although an affordable way to fly, it was still a considerable investment for me, so I wanted to be very sure of the products and training before I made a commitment. After countless hours of researching and speaking with dealers and pilots from all over the US, my diligence paid off. I discovered Flight Junkies. I called a gentleman by the name of “Capt.” Kurt. Kurt was very eager to help me understand the sport of Powered Paragliding and what it would take to be a good and well-equipped pilot. After many thorough “no pressure” conversations with Kurt, I knew I was in the right place. Kurt explained to me everything I needed and did not need to be a good and safe pilot. Of course, with so many on the market I was concerned about what Paramotor to buy. I had heard the name Fresh Breeze from talking with other dealers and pilots. Fresh Breeze came highly recommended from many other dealers and pilots, I even heard good things from some of their competitors. It was nice to hear that Flight Junkies proudly represented this make. I felt very comfortable with Flight Junkies and the products they represent. For this reason I was certain that I wanted to purchase a Fresh Breeze Paramotor from Flight Junkies and begin my adventures of flying. It didn’t stop there. Kurt insisted that I receive proper training and offered to fly from Ohio to South Carolina to put my motor together and offer me FREE training. I accepted his generosity and upon his arrival on Thursday we began training, and I was flying by that Saturday. I couldn’t believe it. I was actually flying. Kurt continues to keep in touch and check up on my progress, always letting me know of PPG fly-ins and always offering additional FREE training. From start to finish, I have nothing negative to say about Kurt and the gang at Flight Junkies. The service, training and representation of the highly innovative and quality driven Fresh Breeze Paramotors, I feel very comfortable about my decision to fly Powered Paragliders and to do business with Flight Junkies. I will recommend Flight Junkies to anyone and look forward to continued business with Captain Kurt and his team. Alex Toline |

| The training from Kurt was exceptional. He not only takes the time to show you the ins and outs of the unit but goes into detail regarding the weather and how it affects you and your flying. Down here in El Paso the weather is very unpredictable as far as thermals and wind and Kurt was able to figure out exactly what I was needing to do to make my launches successful. Kurt’s patience was amazing as many times as he had to reset my wing after I messed it up. Today I was working with my son with kiting and after 45 minutes I was done with resetting the wing. Kurt did it for three days all day. To top it all off it’s free. Kurt is away from his family traveling to train you free – that’s unheard of in today’s society. You will not be disappointed by having him train you. He is very knowledgeable regarding equipment to set you up with. For example, down here we are at a higher elevation and I needed a larger wing and motor which I would have bought the wrong one and not been safe, but he set me up with exactly what I needed. Feel confident with asking Kurt to train you and you will have no regrets.

| The first time I saw Powered Paragliding I knew I had to fly a PPG! Capt. Kurt Fister was the pilot of that flight and I was glad to find out hat he could train me how to fly. He made my entry in to the sport very easy. He selected all the right equipment that would handle my weight and provide the safest flight. With the purchase of the equipment ALL the training needed to get me flying was provided by Capt. Kurt completely FREE. He spends as much time and as frequently as you want in training. After successfully teaching you how to fly, Capt. Kurt continues to make himself available to fly with you as often as you can. His passion for the sport is infectious and he loves to share his knowledge. I would highly recommend Flight Junkies and the “The Capt.” to anyone coming into this incredible sport.
